Snauwaert is the newest brand we have on offer, exclusively at Tennis Direct in Australia. While Snauwaert is a mostly unknown quantity in Australia, the brand actually has a long history of success in Europe and the US, with a deep history. The story began in 1928 when Italian craftsmen Valler Snauwaert and Eugeen Depla started to make hockey sticks, sleds, canoes and tennis racquets out of wood in their spare time. Soon enough, Snauwaert products were being exported globally, from Europe, all the way to South Africa. The 60’s and 70’s however stand as the peak years for Snauwert, with racquets becoming the core offering of the business. This success continued until the early 1990’s, before a triumphant return in 2016.
This increase in momentum has allowed the company to expand into Australia, with the Vitas, and High-Ten range of racquets leading the charge. At Tennis Direct we currently have five Snauwaert racquets on offer, that cater a wide range of playing styles.
