A Solid Upgrade
By: Danny Bioyon 5 March 2025I upgraded from the previous Head Speed MP, and while the changes aren’t drastic, they are noticeable. The feel is slightly softer, and the racquet provides a bit more feedback on impact. The balance and weight distribution make it easy to handle at the net and from the baseline. It’s a great racquet, but if you already own the 2022 version, the upgrade isn't a must unless you want the latest tech.

Good for Fast Swings, Not for Flat Hitters

That said, if you’re a flat hitter, you might struggle to get depth unless you string it lower or add some lead tape. For players who rely on spin and consistency, though, it’s fantastic

Comfort & Stability
By: Derek Jon 5 March 2025Coming from a stiffer racquet, I was worried about losing stability, but the Speed MP 2024 is incredibly solid on contact. The new Auxetic 2.0 tech really helps with responsiveness and makes the racquet feel lively. It’s arm-friendly, even on off-center shots, and provides plenty of bite for spin. Definitely a top-tier frame for all-court players!

Great Feel, But Slightly Underpowered
By: Aaron Rogerson 5 March 2025This racquet has a fantastic feel and is very maneuverable at 300g. The control is outstanding, and it allows me to place my shots with precision. However, I found it a bit lacking in free power compared to other racquets in its class. If you're a player who generates their own power and values control and spin, this is an excellent choice. Otherwise, you may need to tweak the string setup for extra pop.

Absolute Gem

The 23mm beam provides enough stability without feeling sluggish, and the 100 sq in head size offers a forgiving sweet spot. Spin potential is solid, and the racquet feels very comfortable on the arm compared to stiffer frames like the Pure Drive. Highly recommended for intermediate to advanced players!
